Developing a methodology to design collaboration tools usagesDue to the increasing multiplication of Knowledge Management and Collaboration Software as well as the diversification of work methods and collaboration contexts, the “usage of collaboration technologies” tend to be highly complex and more and more heterogeneous. Wikis usages in corporate context. Results of an experimental studyAs defined in WikiPedia, Wiki is “a type of website that allows users to add, remove, or otherwise edit and change web content very quickly and easily, sometimes without the need for registration”. Multiple (INTERNET) experiences show that this concept of open collaboration, sometimes with few structuring conditions, could effectively works, attracts users and stimulates innovative usages. In a corporate context with formalized processes are structure, the usage of this kind of tools seems to be much more difficult. Many issues can limit the acceptance of “open collaboration” and break technologies deployment in the enterprise. In this paper, we try to identify and to answer to these questions through a field research study in a corporate context. We propose and observe different wiki use-cases, while analyzing their contexts and identifying the conditions of their successful implementation in the organization. Analysis of collaborative tools usages in heterogeneous contextsSituations of collaborative working are more and more complex and various in organizations. Such diversification is little studied in the literature. Researches about “technologies usages” in “collaborative situations” mainly focus on specific contexts where a given group is using a specific technology. In this paper, we focus on the richness of a real world environment of collaboration technologies’ implementation, where different teams are working in various contexts (professions, localizations, tasks, etc) and using multiple tools. We propose a model to analyze usages and to bring with patterns in such complexity.We present a research framework obtained by the integration of elements from different models and disciplines. The model was applied to analyze collaborative work tools usage in a French automotive company. As result, this study allowed us to map a global tools usage description, identify user groups’ configurations, their needs, practices and usages. In proceedings of Lecture Notes in Informatics. Une synthèse bibliographique de « L’analyse des Usages »L’usage d’une technologie se décompose en trois phases d’évolution, commençant par l’adoption de cette technologie, ensuite son utilisation fonctionnelle arrivant à une phase d’appropriation et d’instauration de pratiques. Une étude de l’usage doit s’adresser à l’ensemble de ces phases pour déterminer les clés d’adoption d’une technologie par les utilisateurs, identifier les fonctionnalités qu’ils utilisent principalement et pourquoi elles sont utilisées, et comprendre comment ces usages s’installent dans les pratiques et les influencent. Etat de l’art des approches de définition du Système de Gestion des Connaissances (SGC).La définition du système de gestion des connaissances (SGC) reste une question peu précise et abordée selon plusieurs angles par différentes disciplines. Plusieurs travaux de recherche définissent le SGC comme un support informatique aux processus de gestion des connaissances. D’autres montrent que son périmètre est plus large qu’un simple artefact technologique.
